Sample Ports
Overview
Sample ports are located upstream and downstream of the filters. They allow for sampling without exposing the fluids to ambient contamination. Samples are taken during the operation of FlowGuard™ fluid handling products. Two locations allow for the fluid to be sampled before or after the filtration process is taking place.
Standard Sample Ports
Standard sample ports are “minimess” quick disconnect couplers located upstream and downstream of the filters. They allow for sampling without exposing the fluids to ambient contamination. Samples are taken during the operation of the drum topper. Two locations allow for the fluid to be sampled before or after the filtration process is taking place.
High-Viscosity Sample Ports

Ideal for ISO 32 - 680 fluids at low to high temperatures.
Pushbutton Sample Ports
- Benefits:
- Fast and easy
- No probes required
Ideal for ISO 32 - 68 fluids at warm to high temperatures.
Product must be in operation (pressurized) during sampling.
